Quote Number One

"When you are kind to someone in trouble, you hope they'll remember and be kind to someone else. And it'll become like wildfire."- Whoopi Goldberg

... Wildfire spreads like waves crash; they are a neverending chain reaction. When we only send on positivity, support and kindness it will smother the wildfire burning that is the negativity and hatred that exists in the world. Empathy contributes to making the world a better place by using positivity to encourage and cheer others up, by using support to help others that are suffering to get through a time of distress and discomfort, and by using kindness to strengthen other's happiness. Of all the quotes I researched, this one really stuck out to me. In my opinion, this quote states a very true thing: people's actions and behaviours towards one another rubs off and reacts like a wave. Many artists in today's society have taken it upon themselves to be the change they want to see in the world. For instance, young Disney channel artists: Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, have recorded a song called make a wave with the lyrics: "They say the beat of a butterflies wings, can set off a storm the world away. What if they're right and the smallest of things can power the strongest hurricane? What if it all begins inside? We hold the key that turns the tide. Just a pebble in the water can set the sea in motion. A simple act of kindness can stir the widest ocean. If we show a little love, Heaven knows what we could change. So throw a pebble in the water and make a wave, make a wave, make a wave, make a wave. The single joys that you take and send and reach out your hand to someone in need (help somebody). Don't fool yourself and say you can't. You never know what can grow from just one seed. So come with me and seize the day. This world may never be the same."  This powerful message really shows how people in today's universe are beginning to care and relate to other's feelings, and recognize that you get what you put into the world and people. It can spread like wildfire, just like paying it forward...
[I like the interaction of various elements here in the explanation of the quotation.  This is very effective.  Clever use of colour and image, too.]
